The lawmaker who spearheaded Russia's ban on ‘gay propaganda’ now wants an end to free Internet porn

Russian State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov has appealed to Nikolai Nikiforov, the head of the Mass Media and Communications Ministry, suggesting a ban on free pornography websites. According to the news agency RIA Novosti, Milonov also wants to cut off Russians’ access all porn websites, until the creation of effective age-verification measures.

The court has refused to construction holding "Titan-2" the claim against RBC — Rambler News Service

The arbitration court of Moscow has rejected claim requirements of construction holding "Titan-2" to RBC media holding, RNS in the press service of media holding have reported. "Titan-2" submitted a claim for protection of honor, advantage and business reputation because of the rating of "50 most fast-growing companies" published at the end of 2016 in the magazine of RBC. In rating it was reported that "Titan-2" is one of co-owners Vadim Ryabov, the former deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg. The company said that this information isn't true.

Russian lawmakers adopt final drafts of legislation cracking down on Internet anonymity

Russia’s State Duma passed final versions of legislation that will impose new restrictions on instant messengers and prohibit the use of technologies that make it possible to circumvent Internet censorship. Both draft laws were adopted with overwhelming majorities.
