The Russian Federation Laws will be also officially published on the Internet from now on

According to the Kremlin press service, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev signed the law making online publication (on the official internet portal of legal information - www.pravo.gov.ru) of the full text of new legal documents official.

This law adds one more way to officially publish new legislative acts. Now in addition to publishing the new legal documents in the "Parliamentary newspaper" and "Russian newspaper", they can also be officially published online. The legislative acts can only take effect after they are officially published.

"The Federal Assembly Acts, regarding the matters within the jurisdiction of the chambers according to Paragraph 1 of Article 102 and Paragraph 1 of Article 103 of the Russian Federation Constitution, Russian President’s decrees and orders will be posted on the official internet-portal of legal information" - the Kremlin press service said in its announcement.

The plan is to also post the state and Federal Assembly acts, laws and other legislative acts of the constituent entities of the federation as well as municipal legislative acts.
